Anyone who has attended a Foundation Visible Learning workshop (MPC provided one on Feb. 25, 2016) is eligible to register for MPC’s Evidence into Action for Leaders Two-Day Series this next fall on September 15 and November 18, 2016.
Presented by Ainsley Rose, administrators and teachers attending the Evidence into Action for Leaders seminars will learn:
- what evidence they should collect in their schools and districts to determine if they are a Visible Learning school
- focus on the educational practices that are proven to increase student achievement
- Following the Evidence into Action II, district/school leaders will construct school-wide goals and an action plan.
Who should attend: Administrators, Building Leaders and District/School Teams
Registration includes: Evidence into Action for Leaders Two-Day Series, Instructional Audit, Visible Learning Teacher and Administrator workbooks, continental breakfast and lunch, Illinois Administrator Academy credit and/or 12 Professional development hours.
Please note: MPC requires at least 50 educators to register to be able to offer the Evidence into Action for Leaders two-day series.

Ainsley Rose recently retired after thirty-five years in education. As the former director of education and curriculum for the Western Quebec School Board in Gatineau, Quebec, Ainsley was responsible for initiating many systemic changes that continue to impact teaching and learning within the school board today. With experience as an elementary and secondary classroom teacher and principal, as well as an instructor of graduate‑level courses for administrators and pre‑service teachers, Ainsley shares perspectives that resonate with all educators. Ainsley has received the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Association of Administrators of English Schools of Quebec. Ainsley is a contributing author for three publications: The Teacher as Assessment Leader, The Principal as Assessment Leader andThe Collaborative Teacher. He has also contributed a chapter in a new publication with Lead and Learn Press on 21st Century Schooling and Data Teams, as well as Activate: A Leader’s Guide to People, Practices and Processes.
