Midwest Principals’ Center – Job Board Terms of Use
Effective Date: August 14 2025
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Midwest Principals’ Center (“MPC”) Job Board (the “Job Board”). By submitting a job posting, you agree to the following:
1. Eligibility
- Only current MPC members in good standing may post jobs.
- You must be an authorized representative of the employer or a third-party recruiter with written permission from the employer.
2. Accuracy & Compliance
- You represent that all information in your posting is accurate, current, and lawful.
- You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:
- Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- State/local pay transparency laws (e.g., salary range requirements)
- You are responsible for ensuring the posting is free from discriminatory language.
3. Intellectual Property
- You confirm that you have the rights to use any logos, images, or text submitted.
- By submitting a job listing, you grant MPC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, modify for formatting, and archive your posting.
4. Data Privacy
- MPC does not collect job applications or resumes through the Job Board unless otherwise stated.
- If you link to your own application portal, you are solely responsible for applicant privacy and data handling.
5. Moderation & Removal
- All postings are subject to review before publication.
- MPC reserves the right to reject, edit, or remove any posting at its sole discretion, without notice, for any reason, including:
- Non-compliance with guidelines
- Inaccurate or misleading content
- Expiration or irrelevance
- MPC may remove any posting that receives credible complaints.
6. Posting Duration
- Standard posting duration is 30 days from approval.
- Renewal requests must be submitted before the expiration date.
- Expired listings will be archived.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
- MPC provides the Job Board as a service only and does not endorse, screen, or guarantee any employer, job, or applicant.
- MPC is not responsible for:
- Errors or omissions in postings
- Actions taken by applicants or employers
- Any loss or damage resulting from use of the Job Board
- The Job Board is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.
8. Changes to Terms
- MPC may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the Job Board page and effective immediately upon posting.
