Join Susan F. Resnick, MA, for an engaging webinar exploring how executive functioning (EF) skills influence students’ success in mathematics. Learn how the four core EF domains—sustained attention, inhibitory control, cognitive flexibility, and working memory—impact mathematical thinking and problem solving. Participants will discover a practical framework for evaluating the executive functioning demands of math tasks and gain strategies for reducing cognitive load, planning purposeful supports, and helping all learners tackle complex mathematical reasoning with greater confidence.

Susan Resnick is an experienced leader, educator, and author with a passion for mathematics education. With a rich background in education, Susan has held various roles, including as a Learning Disabilities Specialist and Speech Pathologist (K–12), Elementary, Middle School and High School math teacher, and Elementary and High
School principal. She also served as a District Math Coordinator and Turnaround Specialist, working to improve mathematics instruction at a systemic level. Susan holds a BA in Speech Pathology and Audiology, an
MA in Learning Disabilities, and a post-graduate certificate in Educational Leadership. She is the author of several series, including Math in Focus, Primary Mathematics, and Singapore Math: Fact Fluency, and has just released an intervention system based on the research and efficacy of Singapore Math practices.
